Becky Wright, originally from Tulsa, OK, has been composing music on the piano and writing songs since childhood.   She has a true gift of God, and has been singing for Him since the age of twelve.  Desiring to share her love of the Lord through this gift of music, she has sang, played, and often shared her testimony and God's Word at many churches, schools, conferences, women's and youth meetings, and other public and private events for 25 years.  In May 2006 Becky was approved as a Staff Missionary, and  Wright Ministries became a Ministry Department of Artists in Christian Testimony International (www.ACTinternational.org).  The Nashville-based non-profit ministry's mission is to "see lives changed through helping release an army of Arts Ministries Specialists into church, missions, and market place ministries around the world,  and helping to better mobilize and equip them for world evangelism."
        Becky is also a frequent musical guest & worship leader at marriage workshops sponsored by the OMI (Oklahoma Marriage Initiative), a public/private institution designed to help reduce the divorce rate in Oklahoma.  She has won numerous music awards since childhood, and continues that tradition to this day.  Just in May 2008, Becky won the "FEMALE SONGWRITER of the YEAR" Award with the Agape Fest Fan Appreciation Awards, held in Jefferson, TX.  In 2006, she was named (June 2006) "Duo of the Year" with Tommy Brandt, for their adoption song, "Child of My Heart", which is playing on hundreds of radio stations worldwide.  It stayed on the Christian Music Weekly Chart for eight consecutive months after its release in November 2005.  Becky also placed among the Top 5 Finalists for Female Horizon Award with the Agape Fest (Daingerfield,  TX) Fan Appreciation Awards. www.kingcountry.org   March 2008: Becky is a Top 5 Finalist
        Becky has two recordings of her own (indie), a current award-winning single (Child of My Heart), and a June 2006 album with Lamon Records.  The first radio single, "While It is Day" released nationwide on Lamon Records' #10 Comp disc to over 1200 stations, and simultaneously released on the July 2006  Christian Radio Weekly I-Disc, featuring the best of Indie Christian artists' music.  Her second release from the project, the haunting and poignant "Billy's Train", received a rave review from Christian Music Weekly, and climbed to #27 (Dec. '07) on the Top 100 Christian Country Songs in just three months on the chart (Power Source Music Magazine).
         Other artists also record her songs, including eight songs cut by Christian and country artists, and an instrumental composition featured on an international award-winning video ("The Power of Place"), produced by her alma mater Northeastern State University (BSEd, 1994) and the Tahlequah City Chamber of Commerce.  Becky also writes musicals for the schools in which she teaches.  She teaches private voice and piano, and tunes pianos--- a perfect combo for a girl who started playing the piano at the age of three! 
         Becky is a member of the GMA (Gospel Music Association), the CCMA (Christian Country Music Association), and NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Assoc. Intl.). She has over 40 songs published, and just signed a new Song Administration and Publishing agreement with Banner Music Publishing in Shelbyville, TN (March 2008).  She is a Writer and Publisher Member of ASCAP, and teaches workshops on songwriting, booking, and success in ministry. 

       From Becky's heart: "God has brought me through many heart-aches (and joys) that most of us will face during our short lives here on earth. Through my  parent's divorce, my own divorce and abandonment by my first husband, losing a baby through miscarriage, "losing" my own children prematurely as they went to check out the "greener grass" of the other parent's home, seemingly very early deaths of many close family members, including my 35-year old little sister drowning and leaving behind five young children... the heartaches have seemed overwhelming at times.  BUT GOD....  but GOD.... but GOD... praise His name... NEVER left me, never abandoned me, never forgot me!  As I look back, I can see SO many times (as you probably can, too) His hand of mercy carrying me, leading me where He wanted me, continually doing the most AMAZING things in my life that NO ONE could have imagined! He's still doing that today, as I write, so that I will ALWAYS be able (by His grace) to trust Him, to worship Him for His WORTHINESS, His Majesty, His GLORY!  This life is a vapor, but His Word stands FOREVER!
           This life is short-- I want to make every day, every breath, every effort and thought-- count for eternity. Heaven is REAL-- and JESUS paid the price to cover the debt of sin that we owed to open Heaven's doors to US !!  Hallelujah!  Wanna' come?? Read this..."
